College Coaches begin to recognize Kicker Gabriel Barbosa

Senior Kicker Gabriel Barbosa is starting to draw interest from College Coaches across the country. Barbosa has jump out of the box this season in just his first two games he has connected on Field Goals of 43 yds., 42, yds., and 37 yds. He also is 1 for 1 on PAT kicks and has two Touch-backs on kickoffs. Gabriel has become very good at placing the kickoff all over the field. He is also currently working on his punting skills.

Barbosa has set his sights on breaking school kicking records:

In Cornerstone Charter’s Football opening game Junior Running back Angel De Larosa rush for a total of 190 yards behind his experience Offensive line. The offensive line consist of Seniors: Drew Redmond, Connor Brannon, along with junior Richard Carosone and Sophomores: Jayden Valentine and Zach White. Fullback Michael Lockhart also played a key blocking role in Angels successful day.

Angel had 18 carries for 190 yards averaging 10.5 yards per carry with a long run of 40 yards. The game came down to the last second with Cornerstone Charter falling 21-13 to Central Florida Christian Academy.
